2024-2025 Course Selection Information

This information is for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.
Students returning to Olathe East for the 2024-25 school year received enrollment packets on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024 during their Advisory class with information and instructions on how to choose their courses for the upcoming school year.
For next year's sophomores, juniors and seniors, enrollment must be completed online through their StudentVue, under Course Requests, and the student must also return the paper enrollment form to their Advisory teachers on or before Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024. Enrollment for incoming freshmen graders will be due when the OE Counselors are at their middle schools in late February.
Below is a link to the enrollment videos for each class, so please watch the video for the grade your student will be in during the fall of 2024.
Important Note
Olathe East students are required to enter seven full credits for their course requests and two full credits for their alternates.

High school is a time for students to explore a variety of interests. The district uses a seven-period day which gives students additional opportunities to explore subjects outside their required courses.

High School Curriculum Standards
Olathe Public Schools' course curriculum standards are approved by the Board of Education. They parallel national and state standards and are consistent across the entire district to provide a road map for all educators as they plan to teach what students need to know and do. Standards are designed to assess students' individual strengths and needs for growth and success, providing a solid foundation of skills and learning experiences to fulfill the district mission of Students Prepared for THEIR Future.
