Jessica Collins is an Olathe district alum going K-12 from Countryside Elementary, to Pioneer Trail Junior High School, and on to Olathe East High School. She started cheering for Pioneer Trail her eighth and ninth grade year, and was captain her freshman year. At Olathe East, she cheered all three years of high school, being on the sophomore squad, then varsity her junior and senior year. She was a varsity and all-squad captain her senior year, leading and organizing over 40 cheerleaders! She loved her experience as a cheerleader but pursued another passion of hers at Emporia State University, throwing javelin.

Jessica gained great leadership experience as she balanced being president of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, being a member of the track and field team, singing in the campus elite choir, and competing in Professional Business competitions (PBL). She graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Business. She gained experience in the business world working at Cocoa Dolce Artisan Chocolates where she used her teaching skills to train all new employees.

Jessica joined the ONW staff in August 2016, teaching business and computer classes while also coaching cheerleading at Olathe South High School.

She is happily married to her childhood sweetheart, Brenton, and they have a cat named Milo. She is excited to continue her cheerleading career at Olathe Northwest High School!

Katie Frank is a Shawnee Mission South graduate. She started cheering in seventh and eighth grade at Indian Woods Middle School. At Shawnee Mission South she cheered her ninth grade year on the freshmen squad and 10th-12th grade on the Varsity squad. Her senior year she was the Varsity captain. 

Katie then went on to Kansas State University where she majored in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies. After she graduated from K-State, she worked at Manhattan High School for two years. During those two years she was an Assistant Cheerleading Coach as well as a Pep Club Sponsor. Katie moved back to Kansas City in 2013 and began subbing for the Olathe and Shawnee Mission School Districts. While subbing the past four years, she coached cheerleading at Shawnee Mission North and was the Varsity coach for the past three years. 

Katie has been married to her husband Kyle for four years. They met while both were attending K-State. They live in Olathe with their two furbabies, Knox who is a black lab and Riley who is a chocolate lab.   

She is so happy to have found a permanent home here at Olathe Northwest and is excited to join such an amazing cheerleading program!
