Football is open to all seventh and eighth grade students. There are no tryouts. Each participant must have a current physical (one dated after May 1), a concussion form, a substance abuse policy form, and a transportation form on file before they can try out for a sport. These forms can be printed from the General Information page under the Athletics tab or you may pick them up in the school office.

Any seventh or eighth grader interested in playing football needs to check out equipment before the first day of practice. The first day of practice is Aug. 15. A practice calendar will be given to players at equipment checkout.

Football Equipment Checkout

• Eighth graders — Aug. 11, 3:30-5 p.m.
• Seventh graders — Aug. 12, 3:30-5 p.m.

Players will meet Coach Thomas and Coach Green in the south gym at 3:30 p.m. Players will not get equipment until a sports physical has been turned in. Turn in all physicals to Nurse Walker at SFT.

The first day of practice will be Monday, Aug. 15.

All physical forms, concussion forms, and substance abuse forms need to be completed and submitted to the school nurse no later than Monday, Aug. 15. Students will not be able to participate without the physical forms completed. The physical must be dated after May 1.Questions? Please email the school nurse.
