Note for Sixth and Seventh Grade Parents

The State of Kansas requires all seventh graders to have their Tdap and meningococcal vaccinations (also known as Men ACWY/MCV4/Menactra/Menveo). These are often administered at their 11-year-old well check. When your student receives these, please email a copy to Nurse Anderson. These can be administered at your healthcare provider and the following locations:
- Walgreens
- CVS
- Target
- Walmart
- Most grocery pharmacies (call first)
- KanCare/No Insurance
- Johnson County Health Department
- Health Partnership Clinic
Please note, you can view your student’s immunization records in ParentVUE.
Over-the-Counter Medications
Students may carry over-the-counter medications, such as non-prescription pain relievers, cold or allergy medicine, with the following requirements:
- Must be in the original, marked container
- Never distributed to another student
