The Academies located at Olathe West will hold a community open house from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024.

Parking Information:

Those interested in Green Tech — Please park in Lot A and enter through the Olathe West main entrance.

Those interested in Public Safety — Please park in Lot C (north side of school) and look for the fire truck.

• Tour our Public Safety classrooms and high school.
• Meet current students and watch them demonstrate skills they have learned in Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue classes.
• Meet our current Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue and EMS professional advisors. Tour their police vehicles, fire rescue vehicles, and EMS vehicles.
• Meet the Public Safety Academy staff and talk to them about the academy classes, equipment and curriculum.
• Participate in law enforcement scenarios in our virtual simulation room.
• Explore our crime scene and learn about our forensic science class.
