Olathe Parks & Rec Summer Sports 2025
Olathe Parks & Rec is offering an Early Bird discount from now until April 20, for Summer Sports programs. Clicking on this link sends you to the main enrollment page. All of the information such as dates, costs, length of session, etc can be found by clicking on the sport you want from there.

Olathe Helmet Head Bike Rodeo
The Olathe Fire Department invites all area children to bring their bikes to the annual Olathe Helmet Head Bike Rodeo on Sunday, May 4, from 11am to 2pm, at the University of Kansas Cancer Center, 15123 S OMC Parkway. Kids ages 15 and under will receive a free bike helmet, while supplies last. All parents must be accompanied by a child. You can also stop by Olathe Medical Center's Family Fun Fest for free screenings, health info, and lots of family fun activities. The festival will be held adjacent to the Bike Rodeo.

Olathe Teen Council Service & Sweets
Olathe Teen Council presents Service & Sweets. Learn about local volunteer opportunities and have fun creating projects with free sweet treats included. It is on April 12, 9:00-11:30am at the Indian Creek Library.

Westside Wild Lacrosse Spring 2025
Westside Wild Lacrosse Spring Season starts in early March. This is lacrosse for girls grades 3-8.
Practices are on Wednesdays at 6pm at Shawnee Mission West and Fridays at 6pm at Blue Valley Northwest. Games are Sundays at Blue Valley North, beginning late March to mid-May, skipping Easter weekend. There will be 9-10 regular season games with a season ending tournament.

Avila University Summer Reading Skills Programs
The Avila University Summer Reading Skills Programs are taught by instructors from the Institute of Reading Development. Programs are offered for children ages 4 years through 10th grade. Club SciKidz Summer Camp 2025
Kansas City Club SciKidz will be hosting a Summer Camp, June 2 - August 1, 2025, and are now enrolling with an EARLY BIRD registration of $25 off any week of camps. They also offer multi-person, multi-session, and refer-a-friend discounts.
They are committed to demonstrating how science works in the real world by providing activities in veterinary medicine, robotics, forensics, video game creation, food science, paleontology, engineering, chemistry, biology, astronomy, oceanography, emergency medicine, and special effects.
The camps are located at the United Methodist Church Of The Resurrection in Leawood, University of Saint Mary in Overland Park, and Hope Chapel in Olathe.
