The Olathe Public Schools balanced scorecard provides a comprehensive list of performance measures that align with the four pillars of the district’s Strategic Plan in the areas of High Academic Expectations for All, Behavior & Social Emotional Development, Human Resources, and Effective Systems & Prioritized Resources. Key priority outcomes and initiatives supporting our Portrait of a Graduate have been aligned with the district’s goals, and metrics have been identified to establish baseline data to set targets and guide our work as a system.
The balanced scorecard is used to monitor internal functions and their impact on the identified outcomes, in tandem with measuring and providing feedback to our organization and stakeholders. The scorecard is used by the Board of Education and administration to measure performance and results, as well as continually monitor the needs of our students, staff, and community to ensure a quality education for all students.
