The alumni association oversees scholarships for Olathe graduates. The funds are invested and distributed by the Olathe Public Schools Foundation. Scholarship applications are available on the foundation's website.

Olathe High School Alumni Association Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship is offered to a senior at Olathe North High School who demonstrates financial need and participates in at least one school club or activity.

Ralph Dennis Scholarship

The $1,000 scholarship honors former Olathe North High School teacher and coach Ralph Dennis. Any Olathe senior who has been a member of the boys or girls varsity basketball teams, earned a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA, and demonstrated financial need is eligible to apply.

Olathe Public Schools Alumni Association (All High Schools) Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship launched in 2023 and is open to seniors from all five Olathe high schools. Applicants must have attended an Olathe high school for at least three years, demonstrate strong ties to their school community, and show evidence of their commitment to activities that promote school pride. The successful applicant will have a minimum 2.5 GPA (unweighted) and plan to pursue a post-secondary education (trade school, community college or four-year university) in the fall. Applicants must demonstrate financial need for the Olathe Public Schools Alumni Association Scholarship. Amelia Shears Scholarship

This $500 scholarship is open to seniors from all Olathe high schools who plan to pursue a career in education or languages. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Ruth Ann Hackler Scholarship

This $500 scholarship is open to seniors from Olathe North High School who demonstrate financial need and who have taken at least one business class in high school.
